Online Safety

Resources to support your child’s online wellbeing.

The internet can be a difficult place for children to navigate. It can be hard to know the real from the fake, how to avoid seeing negative content, or what to do if a mistake is made.

Parent Online Safety Presentation

The London Grid for Learning (LGfL) has released a new online resource aimed at supporting parents around online safety. For adults with busy lives and various responsibilities, it is not always feasible to maintain a grasp on advancing technologies. Particularly when those technologies might not be aimed at your age demographic, but will be aimed at your children's age brackets.

The UK Safer Internet Centre is also a great resource for learning how to deal with issues that may arise online, and helping to make sure your children's time online is positive. You can learn more here: https://saferinternet.org.uk/online-issue/.

GoHenry

Parents should check GoHenry payment requests regularly and any requests for money from other students should be deleted.

If requests for money persist you can either report it to school or to that child's parents.
