Netball teams from Sibford School had great fun taking part in the Small Schools High 5 England netball tournament, hosted by the North Oxfordshire School Sport Partnership.
The event took place on Tuesday 26 February here at Sibford School where the teams played in glorious sunshine and successfully qualified for the upcoming Oxon School Games.
High 5 is a popular entry game of netball. It’s a great way for children to get active and it’s designed specifically for children, aged 9-11, and uses fun and variety to get them into the game, polish skills and aid fitness.
A key part of High 5 is players rotating round positions. This means that all young people get to experience every position on court and makes for fitter more adaptable players as they get older.
Well done to the two Sibford School teams that have qualified!
