Riding Success for Olivia
Olivia, Year 11, has recently had success and managed to get herself on two different national riding teams.
During the summer Olivia went as an individual rider to Wales where she took part in her first ever Derby and ended up winning. Olivia came in 1st in over 100 other competitors in the event, riding her pony Carnival Payday (known as Percy).

Other recent sporting news from the school:

Georgie in Year 11 has been offered a place in the England u18s rugby development academy affiliated to Gloucester Hartpury. An amazing achievement!
Equestrian wins for Sophie
During the summer break, Sophie in Year 9 was notified that she had been selected for the British Dressage Youth Home International representing her region at elementary level. This involves riders up to 25 years old, so it was a great achievement especially as Sophie only started at this level this year. The competition was strong and she was placed 19th out of 36. It was all very close, just 1% higher and she would have been 12th.
Sophie also qualified for the British Dressage U25 Championships at Sheepgate at the end of August. She held her own in big classes against very experienced riders and did well including a 6th place.
She also continues to compete in Equestrian Vaulting and recently won her class overall at the English Championships and has qualified for the British Championships in October.
