Events on the day
- KS3 and KS5 English Literature students can come in on the day dressed as their favourite character/real person from a fiction or non-fiction book but they must have a label stating who they are and bring 50p for charity. Labels will be given out in house meeting.
- KS4 students are invited to decorate biscuits as their favourite book to win 10 house points – delivery on the day to the Library
- ‘Extreme reading’ - students will have to send in a picture of them reading somewhere extreme to their English teacher. The top 3 will win 5 house points for each house
- There will be quotes around school on the day that students need to find and tell me in the Library which book they are from. For each correct answer you win 1 house point
- All staff will be invited to dress up as their favourite character and we will reward extra house points for the best dressed
- The English teachers will be dressing up as their favourite character from a book and students need to guess all of them and tell us in the Library to win 5 house points
- There will be a quiz in house meeting on WBD
- SFL will also be running exciting activities throughout the day!
