Fantastic IELTS success for Rita Yang
As well as succeeding in A level examinations, our international students also have to pass the IELTS exam. This exam is necessary to prove competency in the English language with all four skills being tested. 9 is the top score and is considered to be native speaker level.
Rita recently took the exam in Oxford and performed remarkably well. She arrived at Sibford at the beginning of Year 10 with a basic knowledge of English. She took the exam just before Christmas and scored a remarkable 8 in both the Reading and Listening papers and achieved an overall score of 7.5.
Well done Rita, we are so proud of you!
