Students at Sibford School in Oxfordshire are celebrating a year of exceptional accomplishments, with the Class of 2024 securing places at some of the UK’s most prestigious universities.
Results day at Sibford was marked by an outpouring of joy and pride, as students discovered that their hard work and dedication had led to a wealth of exciting opportunities.
Among the notable success stories is Harry, who achieved three A grades and will be pursuing a degree in History and Global Sustainable Development at the University of Warwick. Theo’s remarkable performance, with two A* grades and one A, has earned him a place to study Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. Honor, who attained a BTEC Distinction alongside two A grades, is set to pursue a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at the University of the Arts London.
Rosie, another standout student, not only secured two BTEC Distinction* grades and an A* but also received special recognition from the exam board for being one of the highest achievers in her subject. She will be heading to the University of Exeter to study Communications. Olivia is excited to begin her studies in Nursing at the University of Surrey, while Molly, who earned a BTEC Distinction*, an A, and a B, will study Physical Geography and Geology at the University of Birmingham.
Reflecting the diverse opportunities available to Sibford students, James has chosen a different path, securing a highly sought-after apprenticeship in accounting. His decision underscores the school’s commitment to nurturing individual aspirations and supporting students in pursuing a variety of career pathways.
