A trip to warwick castle - Written by Hannah, Year 12.
On the 26th of November all the ESOL students went on a trip to Warwick castle. Even though the bad weather did not foretell a pleasant visit, we still hoped that it would be a great experience. And indeed it was!
We climbed up the castle walls and were amazed by the spectacular views that was revealed to us at the top. Moreover, we were brave enough to visit the Castle Dungeon which turned out to be a frightening expedition. To calm down we decided to take a look at the inside of the castle which was designed like a small museum that told us the story of the castle. It was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations as well.
After a little lunch we had more time for ourselves to discover the castle on our own. Eventually, our time was up and we had to return to the bus. After an unpleasant start due to the weather conditions, it turned out to be an exciting trip that everyone enjoyed a lot! A big thanks to Sally and Simon Chard for making this trip possible!
