There is much anticipation around the Sibford School production of Little Shop of Horrors in March 2022, with tickets going on sale in the new year.
Coco, Year 9 has started to write rehearsal notes to give the school community an update on the production so far:
December 2021
"In the last rehearsal we worked on the song 'Feed Me' which I think is spectacular. It just makes you want to dance and sing along. Toby and Ali have been extremely patient in waiting to get their part as the plant. They are extraordinarily talented, as is everybody in this production.
On the last day of school there is a whole cast and crew rehearsal as we are running Act One before term ends. The ensemble have been busy building on their harmonies with Fiona Hudson, breaking down songs like 'Skid Row' and 'Little Shop Of Horrors Theme' and it sounds amazing."
November 2021
"This week at rehearsal we had an incredible spread of costume ideas. I could hear the cast exchange excited words and I can’t wait to see what the wardrobe team get up to. Meanwhile, in crew club we have had an all-access tour of the stage and we have been given the tricks of the trade in lighting."
In other news, the crew have started to make props for next years performances:
